Laboratory Safety For You and Me

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation provided plans and guidelines concerning the field of our work. The plan must set forth procedures, equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), work practices, and policies. These must be implemented and used to protect employees and students from the potential health hazards presented by use of hazardous chemicals used in laboratories. The purpose of this program is to insure compliance with all OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulations and standards that affect laboratory workers.  By these programs we future medical technologists together with the medical team will be safe inside the laboratory, this is important knowing that laboratory is an area full of infectious stuffs that may affect our precious health.
